Robert M. Sigler, CEO and Chairman
Robert M. Sigler is the CEO and Chairman of Global Key Advisors. Robert is also Founder & President of Global Trust Group and Global Trust Ventures with over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, investment banking, mergers, acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, and venture strategy and management. He owns and has co-founded numerous businesses in regulated and diverse industries such as Gemstone LVS, which developed the 700-unit Manhattan Condominiums on Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Global Trust Ventures special opportunity investment fund with gaming industry icon Clyde T. Turner. Robert has been a seed investor and advisor to numerous highly successful companies including Nautical Control Solutions, Trendy Butler/Alfred Intelligence, and Surkus Inc.
Prior to developing his portfolio of private companies, Robert served as the youngest senior analyst in the history of S.C. Bernstein in New York where he built a research platform for the global automotive industry as the firm’s lead international auto analyst. His work included extensive research, analysis, and published reports on global markets including determinants of market share, economic trends affecting supply and demand, serially correlative variables in earnings revisions, and strategic drivers and trends in mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he developed the first comprehensive “Zero Sum” global supply and demand model for the industry. Robert also served as an investment banking analyst for Credit Suisse First Boston where he focused on a wide range of domestic and international transactions as a member of New York’s M&A Generalist Group. These transactions included mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic proposals in health care, pharmaceuticals, technology, oil and gas, waste management, technology, and construction with assignments in Asia, South America, and Europe. Robert also served as a member of the international tax group of the Price Waterhouse Atlanta office in 1987 and was selected nationally as one of six post-graduate research fellows for the Financial and Governmental Accounting Standards Board in Connecticut in 1990. Robert has co-published on corporate governance with industry expert Robert Stobaugh of the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Robert earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accountancy, graduating with top honors in both business and arts & sciences. He also attended Kansai University for a year in Japan.
